Last week, our India sales team visited the IHGF Delhi Fair, one of Asia’s leading gifts and handicrafts trade fairs. The event covers a wide range of product categories including Handicrafts, Home Furnishings, Decor, Linen, Textiles, Crockery, Glassware, Antiques, Leather Bags & Accessories.
The team were on the hunt for original gift ideas with great sustainable credentials and found several new products at the show.
Rob Thangadurai, ASL’s Country Manager, India (pictured below left), commented on the visit “We saw many ideas around CSR and sustainability, including customisable jute bags and magnetic wooden display blocks which were something new. There’s a strong trend towards sustainable products in Asia and manufacturers are responding to this demand with some great new materials and product adaptation ideas.
He continued “It’s also been a good opportunity to meet with some of our newer suppliers in this region; face to face meetings always help with the on-boarding process”
