Our China sales team had a great time attending the Coca-Cola Compliance Workshop in Taiyuan this week. This annual workshop brings together Coke’s regional procurement teams with their global supply partners to discuss opportunities for collaboration and improving synergy and compliance across markets. The workshop was very useful with topics ranging from centralizing sourcing management to the use of innovative new merchandising tools.
ASL Global’s Samantha Liu (GM, Greater China, Korea) and Jolie Ji (Account Manager) attended the workshop. Samantha commented on the event “This year’s workshop has been a real collaboration with Coca-Cola’s procurement teams. Compliance is always such a critical factor when it comes to promotional products, so it’s very useful to meet our Coke colleagues face to face and discuss how we can share best practice and apply new technical innovations. We find it so valuable to work with Coke to identify opportunities to advance both product and process improvements within the supply chain”
The team also found time to socialize when they attended a ‘Qing Dynasty’ Themed dinner party. Some of the costumes were amazing and it was a fantastic event. Well done team!
